My Camera Journal - Part 3
The next camera in my life was the Nikon D40. It was my official welcome to the DSLR world.
I don't know if I have any stories behind this camera though. Hmm. This was a great camera though honestly. I had it for a few years, took it on a couple of trips to Japan, Istanbul, London and New Orleans, and then sold it on Craigslist when I went on to my next camera.
I suppose the story with this camera was just that it was a solid performer. Primarily I just used a kit lens and the camera did its job when I asked it to.
